Need something for the whole family and the dog? Catch one of the daily trains departing the Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad depot. Along the way, take some fantastic pictures of Rocky Mountain vistas, woods and streams. You can even join the engineer in the cab to see what a real locomotive looks like - and talk with the conductor while watching the flowing Arkansas River 1,000 feet below.

Children and adults will be able to experience something new on this unique trip with the Arkansas River 1,000 feet below. Trains depart Memorial Day though early October.
