Need a vacation activity for the whole family and the dog? Enjoy a train ride while visiting Vail, Beaver Creek or Summit County resorts! It's as educational as it is fun!

Catch one of the daily trains departing the Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad depot. Kids can even join the engineer in the cab to see what a real locomotive looks like - and talk with the conductor while watching the Arkansas River flow 1,000 feet below.

Children and adults will each find something to enjoy on this unique vacation activity. Trains depart Memorial Day though early October.
